Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner Program
Ayurveda, the "Science of Life", originated in Egypt
and then India. It includes a medical system that is based upon 5000 years of history and experience. It's
descendants include Chinese, Japanese and Thai Medicine and as such, it is the primary medical care for millions of people
on our planet today. Windemere's Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner Program is designed to access
this wisdom and science to achieve and maintain wellbeing and health. We use this ancient knowledge to detect imbalances
and then use it's scientific strategies to cleanse, rejuvenate and restore healthy balance. Through knowledge, consciousness, assessment,
evaluation, observation, and application of multiple therapies, we support our clients in their journey with well-being.
The Level 1 - Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner program is designed for the health para-professional. The requirements
for admission include completed studies in human anatomy and physiology. The program is perfect for massage therapists,
nurses, chiropractors, etc. The graduate will be prepared with the knowledge and skills to educate and support individuals
in strategies for personal wellness, and will have the skills to provide the appropriate rejuvenative therapies. In
addition, under the guidance and consultation of an Ayurvedic Physician or Clinical Specialist, graduates
of this program may provide Panchakarma (cleansing and rejuvenation therapies) for individuals with more serious
medical conditions.
A Level 2 program, Ayurvedic Clinical Specialist, is under development. Completion of
Level 1 is a pre-requisite for Level 2.
Level 1 - Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner program
studies include: Consciousness, Meditation, Ayurvedic Physiology, Ayurvedic Pathology, Ayurvedic Assessment including pulse
taking, Ayurvedic Herbs, Aromatherapy, Sound Therapy, Gemstone Therapy and Rejuvenating Panchakarma techniques The Panchakarma
techniques include Ayurvedic Hot Stone Massage, Ayurvedic Thai Massage, Shirodhara, Ayurvedic Foot and Facial Massages, Dough
Dam Basti therapies, and 2 & 4 handed Abhyanga.
We apply this knowledge and the therapies in
practicums throughout the program and conclude with 2 clinical intensives.

The Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner program is
11 months beginning February 18, 2012. Successful completion of the program and all its requirements entitles the graduate
to a diploma as an Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner.
A
Level 2 program will be available as interest is sufficient, and will provide the graduate with a diploma as an Ayurvedic
Clinical Specialist. - Tuition for the Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner Program is $5350.
- Students are
provided with a list of course books and supplies which they are responsible for purchasing.
- Limited on-site lodging is available for $20 night (inquire
for details).
- A $250 discount is applied when the entire tuition is paid upfront.
- Students pay
a $600 deposit with a signed enrollment agreement. The remaining balance of $4743.00 is paid in 11 consecutive monthly payments
of $431.19 each.
- Payments may be made via authorized automatic withdrawals through a checking or savings
account or, via authorized automatic credit card charges. Payments made with a credit card will have a 4% card fee asessed.
- The enrollment agreement is a contract
for the schedule of classes, agreement with school policies, and guaranteed complete payment of the tuition per the specific
payment terms on the enrollment agreement.
- The enrollment agreement is legally binding and is nonrevocable three business days from signing.
Tuition is nonrefundable three business days from signing the enrollment agreement and students are responsible for 100%
of tuition payment, whether completing or not completing the program.
